Yves
Desgouttes -- 15 years of commercial and property investment
experience in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
For a decade Yves owned and managed several lodging and commercial
properties in Jackson Hole and turned around 2 fledging properties.
Prior to that ,he was based in London and New York as a trader and
treasurer for several financial Investment institutions such as
C.I.C., Midland Bank and ING. He began his career as a geologist in
Northern Canada.
His
extensive experience with Jackson Hole property investments coupled
with his contacts in the global investment world directly benefit
his clients.
Outdoor enthusiast and a former professional ski racer, Yves’ deep
appreciation of nature drew him and his family to Wyoming. He
participates in skiing and running races held in the region.
Active
in community affairs, Yves is on the board of the Murie Center and
also volunteers at the Free Clinic. He
is a member of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce,
Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association and Geologists of
Jackson Hole. He still belongs to some European institutions
such as the Oxford Society and the Royal Eastbourne Golf
Club.
Yves, who was born in France and is fluent in that language, was
educated in England. He earned a bachelor degree from
Southampton University and did research and a thesis at Oxford
University ( St. Edmund Hall) where he was a member of the track and
field team.
